Then cover the bottom of the adaptor with 3m marine sealant and clamp it to the roof until dry. Mark the outline of the roof cuts that will be needed then use a skill saw to cut the outlined space. To install a roof adaptor cut and clean the hole in the roof as you would normally. Locate the drill bit. Record those measurements on a notepad.

Install shingles as normal up to the base of the plumbing vent. Place all the roof vents on the same side of the roof.
